Curriculum is but a tool, and it’s the shepherds who make it applicable to a student’s life. Shepherds can easily use this material for the student who is an age-group older. For example, if your program keeps grades 2 through 5 together, we suggest this grouping:

| * Ages 2-4 | Use 2 & 3-year-old material | Two-year cycle |
| Age K-Gr 1 | Use 4-5-K material | Two-year cycle |
| Grades 2-5 | Use Grades 1-4 material | Four-year cycle |
| Grades 6-7 | Use Grades 5&6 material | Two-year cycle |
* A child will experience the same lessons at ages 2 and 4, but he will experience it differently based on his perspective.
