Our Mission
We equip churches for Highly Effective Discipleship with children and families.

Achieve Biblical Literacy
Kingdom Quest is designed to help students achieve Biblical literacy. In all age groups, about half the year is spent in the Old Testament and half the year in the New Testament. All lessons point to Jesus as the one who purchased our salvation and gives us the power to live for him. Find out more about "What is our Statement of Faith?"

What's our story?
This curriculum was birthed at King of Kings Church in Omaha, Nebraska and is still used at King of Kings. Largely, as a result of this curriculum, the children’s attendance doubled to over 700 children and 20 new guests every weekend.

Children’s pastor, Dr. Roger Theimer, is the essence creator. He began Kingdom Quest as a culmination of his doctoral work. The challenge was to develop creative and fun small group ministry materials for elementary children using the inductive Bible study technique (warm-up question, observation question, interpretation question and application question). Materials were tested around the country with phenomenal success. A second hour worship experience was added… Kids Church. A publishing company was born. The efforts of dozens of volunteers and staff helped with the creative process and writing task. The result was one thousand lessons produced over ten years.

High Impact Discipleship is happening at churches using these materials. But the most important setting for discipleship is in the home. How could High Impact Discipleship be delivered in the home? What could help parents spiritually parent their children? Pastor Roger partnered with Director of Family Ministry, Mike Heinz, to meet this challenge. After years of testing, an easy-to-use DVD product was released. In 2008, the first five steps of Faith Legacy Series was produced. The work continues as the steps for grades 5 through 12 are being developed.

What's our vision?
Our mission is to equip churches for High Impact Discipleship with children and families. But we want to provide more than curriculum. We want to provide training and encouragement. Our focus is not just the United States. Needs in children's ministry are much greater in developing countries or countries with fewer resources. Our goal is to one day help host a website that offers children's ministry materials to multiple countries, cultures and languages at prices that make it easy for any children's ministry to afford. We are especially interested in developing story-telling techniques and training that would work in any culture. To that end, we have already given curriculum and support to translation teams in India and Malaysia.

One of the greatest resources of the global church is the creative ability of children's leaders. Our dream is to help these leaders share their ideas with one another. We pray that millions more children would come to experience the love of Jesus so that they love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength… and love their neighbors as themselves.

This vision can only be accomplished by partnering with other ministries and individuals. If you are interested in joining one of our mission trips or working together to bring High Impact Discipleship materials and training to children's ministry globally, then please contact us.

Writers and storytellers needed

We are currently editing our lessons and adding more options…especially different interactive storytelling venues. If you are a creative writer or an educator with a passion for reaching kids, please contact us to find out about special partnerships.

What is our Statement of Faith?
This curriculum is Bible-based, believing that God's word is inspired and true. The main purpose of the Bible is more than to give us a standard of living; it leads us into a relationship with Jesus Christ. In that relationship, we meet him as Savior and experience him as Lord. We are reconciled with the Father and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Through the Holy Spirit we have the presence of Jesus in our lives and the power to live out our Christian faith.
