The Purpose of this Retreat is for sons and their fathers (or a sponsored father in cases where dad is unavailable) to spend quality time together while discussing what it means to become a man; specifically, God’s plan for a man. Together they’ll explore what it means for a man of God to be strong, honorable, and faithful to the end.

It also helps fathers and their fifth and sixth grade sons discuss the topic of sex and what it means to be a man from the Biblical perspective. This Faith Legacy Series step provides detailed information on how to help leaders put together a successful retreat.

The Purpose of this Retreat is to facilitate mom-daughter conversations about the daughter's emerging sexuality and to encourage future openness between mom and daughter. Also, it accurately informs pre-adolescent girls about the changes their bodies will soon be going through and to take their cues about beauty and personal value from God's Word.

This Faith Legacy Series step gives you step-by-step details of how to have a successful Mother/Daughter retreat. At the retreat you will watch a video featuring Gretchen Jameson, who will help everyone understand how a woman of God is cherished, pure, and faithful to the end.
