This age grouping includes 4-year-olds and 5-year-olds, but also might include 6-year-olds who are in kindergarten. You can repeat the curriculum on a two-year cycle. Lessons are arranged in mini-series, most often with a theme that is emphasized for 4 or 5 weeks.

Year 1 and Year 2 spend summer and fall in the Old Testament, though on a different set of topics. (Creation is included in both years.) Both Year 1 and Year 2, spend Christmas through Easter on the life of Jesus. Spring season explores topics in the book of Acts… and of course Mother's Day!
