Kids Church Lesson Tour
Walk Through a Lesson
Kids Church Ages 4-5-K
![]() |
Kids Church for ages 4, 5 and kindergarten is an engaging worship and learning experience designed for the preschool child. A strength of Kids Church is its simplicity and how easily new adult volunteers can come in and assist a large group leader. Following identical themes to Kingdom Quest, it fits perfectly as a second hour of children’s ministry. One popular option allows for children to either begin the service in Kids Church or with their parents in adult worship. Children who attend the adult service would then be dismissed midway through the service to join Kids Church already in progress. |

First Presentation of the Bible Event The treasure box is brought forward revealing objects that help introduce the Bible event. |

A creative storytelling technique captures the children’s attention and helps the Bible event come alive. |
| Activity Zones Children can move at their own pace through the activity zones where adults connect with them and help them do the activity in that zone. While this is happening, they visit with the children about the take home point of the lesson. Each church may choose which Activity Zones they will offer. Samples of the activities zones include the snack zone, puppet zone, flannel board zone, messy zone, play zone, and quiet reading zone. |

Second Presentation of the Bible Event As Kids Church winds down, the Bible event is told again. In this lesson children are pulled from the audience, given costumes or head pieces, and they reinact the story. On other occasions, this presentation might use costumed adults, video clips or some other engaging option. |
